All Cyclists welcome! If you're touring by bike this summer, we are located along the Waterford Heritage Trail, our section of the Trans Canada Trail. We just joined this network of cycle friendly attractions and more. A great planning tool for road warriors.

  • This past June we were honoured to host a garden tour for several members from the Japanese Garden Tourism board. Although time was short, they captured the essence of the gardens that were under construction.

  • Many international visitors made a special trip to visit us from England, Scotland, Holland and the US to have a sneak peek at the gardens.

  • Doors Open Ontario this past August was a huge success! Over 300 guests visited our gardens. Many traveled for hours and made a day exploring the gardens. True inspiration!

  • A fantastic new garden magazine Garden Making www.gardenmaking.com featured the gardens this past summer.

  • We welcomed 14 coach buses this past summer, most were horticultural groups from across Ontario. Many buses have been booked for our 2012 season. We always welcome group tours, and encourage horticulture societies and community groups to visit. It's a great stop for a few hours and there's plenty to see in the area.

  • Whistling Gardens is pleased to announce Visual Artist/Artisan/Healing Arts Professional Jane Ellerington has joined our growing team of workshop presenters! Watch for our fall harvest workshop coming soon.

  • We hope you were able to stop by and say hello at our Canada Blooms exhibitor booth from March 15-25 2012.

  • Welcome new garden arts programming partner Norfolk Arts Centre!

  • We are pleased to announce our new partnership with Kinga Burjan, certified instructor of Yoga disciplines who will be teaching and hosting Yoga and Meditation classes in the gardens!

  • Our new partnership with the Ontario South Coast Wineries and Growers Association will bring local Norfolk wines and food to a few special events this year, including our May 26th Grand Opening!

  • Planning a wedding or special event in the gardens? Our partnership with Special Event Rentals will provide everything you need for your perfect event.

  • We have more than doubled our speaking engagements this year and welcome your requests! Please email us with your request.
