On May 28, 2022, the beautiful musical drama Ruth, will be presented by the acclaimed performing company Arcady. This audience favourite will take place at Whistling Gardens in a rare outdoor performance. The drama follows the life of Ruth, an independent, strong, and hopeful woman as she searches for a better life for herself and her people. The work was written in 1996 by Ronald Beckett to the words of Brantford librettist Roger Bayley. Ruth has been regularly performed locally by Arcady over the past 25 years but has also garnered an international classical radio audience.
