SUMMARY:Musical Fountain Show starts May 23rd 2022
DESCRIPTION:Over 3 years in the building\, all stone open-air amphitheatre complete with a backdrop of nearly 100+ fountains. The granite stage walls and outer wings are over 400 feet and surrounded by gardens inside and out. Three individual 80 foot staircase fountains meet behind the stage.The water theatre was inspired by Andre Le Notre’s 1634 design at the Palace of Versailles. \nWhistling Gardens owner Darren Heimbecker\, composes the music and choreographs the fountains shows. \nAbout Our Fountain Shows\nA composition is especially written for the fountain program. Darren works with state of the art digital technology in his home studio to do most of the creative writing\, editing\, mixing and mastering. The latest in computer technology runs the fountain program. Have a break while touring through the gardens in the water theatre! \nNew! Whistling Gardens incorporated Canada’s first computerized pumps into its existing program. They’re controlled directly from a computer without piping of any kind. Their flexibility in programming allows for a much greater diversity for fountain programs. \nWe hope you enjoy the show this season. \nFountain Schedule – 2022Musical Fountain Show starts May 23rd 2022. \nFountain Programs run twice daily on weekdays\n11:15 am and 1:45 pm \nSaturday and Sunday\n11:15 am\, 1:00 pm and 2:45 pm \nProgram run time approximately 6 minutes. \nAll times are subject to weather\, special events and scheduled maintenance. This interpretive storytelling experience of music\, water\, and lighting invites guests to explore our scenic 22 acre multi-award winning botanical beauty before nightfall\, enjoy on site friendly food and beverage hospitality\, and showcase local pop up talent each Saturday before nightfall. \nA team of computerized lighting and special effects create a magical theatrical experience! Several gardens including our 100 year old cottonwood at the entrance of the gardens will be illuminated with computerized lighting and synchronized to music. By working with engineers and technology experts around the world\, we believe we have created a theatrical fountain experience unlike anything ever seen before in Canada.
