Carey invites you to bring your friends and delve into the practice of mindfulness for an enriching and therapeutic experience\, gain clarity\, focus and develop a personal application for using mindfulness in your own life.  \nPartnering with Whistling Gardens\, we will utilize the healing effects of group and nature therapy to learn about and practice two styles of Mindful Meditation and engage in a guided exercise to create your own personal mindfulness plan. You are then invited to carry on in your mindful journey as you enjoy the stunning 22 acres of botanical gardens!  \n LOCATION: Whistling Gardens. 698 Concession 3 Wilsonville\, ON. SUMMARY:Garden Design - CRASH COURSE
DESCRIPTION:Garden Design – CRASH COURSE \nMay 26th 10am – 2pm \nPlanning or redesigning your garden can be overwhelming. In this workshop\, participants will learn tips\, tricks and the foundations of garden design from a Landscape Designer. With the assistance of Heather (the Designer)\, participants will complete a preliminary design of their own garden space including dimensions\, a plant list and an idea of materials to install their plan. Supplies: Participants should bring photos of their existing garden space/area\, property survey (if they have one)\, photos (printed or on their phone) of inspirational images they like\, pencil crayons or markers (if they have them)\, and a camera (phone camera is fine).
