What washroom facilities do you have?
We have an indoor trailer and outdoor accessible washrooms are available. Please keep personal belongings locked in your vehicle.
Are there seating areas?
There is a designated picnic seating area near The Redbud, and seating under our Marquee Tent, as well as benches throughout the gardens.
Can I BBQ on site?
No. Insurance restrictions do not permit BBQ or Propane preparation equipment. Please prepare your picnic lunch in advance and enjoy your stay!
Can I pick the flowers?
No. Picking, pruning and collecting of any plant material is strictly prohibited. You are welcome to walk on the grass but please stay out of the gardens.
Can I bring my pet?
Sorry, no pets are allowed in the gardens. Only certified Guide Dogs are allowed.
Please note: There are free-range birds including chickens, Royal Mute Swans and Egyptian Geese. Do not feed the birds and respect their space.
Can I bring my young children/grandchildren?
Of Course! We ask that you chaperone small children at all times during your stay to help us protect the sensitive plant collections, water and architectural features.
What should I wear to explore the gardens?
We suggest you bring appropriate clothing for the season and wear comfortable footwear. Spring and fall weather, in particular, can change quickly, so an extra sweater or umbrella is never a bad idea.
Do you permit garden photography?
Absolutely and please tag us on social media posts too! Garden admission rates apply for family, engagement and group photography. Wedding Photography must be prescheduled, and we offer a special cost savings package for our bridal guests too. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Are the gardens wheelchair accessible?
Our gardens are designed to maximize wheelchair access. Surfaces vary from compact stone, grass, and ornamental rock which could limit access in some cases. For your comfort bring your own wheelchair fitted with outdoor tires, walking aids and don’t forget to bring a friend to help guide and assist you.
As wheelchairs are considered licensed medical equipment to be supervised by registered medical personnel, we are unable to provide wheelchairs on site. Please notify our Member Services staff upon your arrival of any special needs you might have during your visit as we care for your comfort. Our team is Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) trained, as we remain dedicated to ensuring every guest is comfortable during their garden stay.
