"As caretakers, our lifetime is dedicated to reinvesting revenue profits and our hearts and souls in creating Norfolk County’s Premiere Botanical Gardens. We are truly grateful for each garden guest and your kindness, which keeps us motivated and humbled. Your generosity has caught us by surprise as we care for your gifts while on this incredible journey."

Darren and Wanda Heimbecker

Whistling Gardens has been undertaken and planted “in perpetuity” for the community to enjoy as a public sanctuary while also incorporating multi-purpose agriculture uses. Our goal is to create a world-class horticultural destination for all.

We do not receive any money from Government funding sources and the gardens are solely supported with plant sales and admissions to the gardens. We are proud to be able to exhibit some of the largest plant collections and rarest plants in the country.
